It had been a couple days since I worked with Time and I really missed the big guy. I figured it was time to go see him and exercise him some. Yeah that sounded like a good idea. So I got dressed in my riding clothes, pulling on my riding boots and headed out to the barn and was greeted with a warm welcome from my stallion. I tacked him up and off we went to the arena. It sounded like a good place to warm up and such and no one else was there. Another good reason. He was a little rusty from a couple weeks out in the pasture and he needed to lose some weight. Another reason for the training. But he was a good stallion. He was a 15.3 bay Canadian sport horse. Usually I ride something a little bigger but he caught my attention and I have never regretted anything. He is a good horse.
Ok so enough about Time. It was time to ride. We entered the arena. It was quiet and vacant. Good. I lead Time in and then stopped him. I was looking around when I felt a nudge in my backside. I grinned. He was such a goofball. I turned and rubbed his neck for a second and then walked to his side. Good boy. I held onto the reins and pulled myself up onto the horses back. It wasn’t like it was a long way but still. I adjusted myself and then looked around. What to do first. I better start out just with a walk around let him know his surroundings. Then I will work my way up. I tapped slightly as Time’s sides and he went into a brisk walk. Nothing was slow about him. That’s what I liked. I didn’t have to push him at all. I smiled. Good boy. I praised him. I always praised him. When I rode, I went into my own little world where it was just me and the horse. I didn’t care who or what was around me. Only important obsticles that I needed to watch for. So when someone also entered the arena, I never heard or saw them. I hope they didn’t think I was rude.

I lead Sacred Dreamer into the arena and watched the horse. I mounted Sacred Dreamer and I started to walk her around the arena.

YOU'VE GOT ME FUCKED UP AND SO you talk like you're famous, you're shameless. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Terabinth was surprisingly quiet this evening, I noticed as I tacked up the mare. Usually, she got a little hyper, or at least overdid it with the affection. However, Tera was finally acting like a... horse tonight. I supposed it was the weather, slightly hot and muggy, that had her feeling odd. Sam still hadn't shown in the past day, though I had talked to Amy about it and we were pretty sure he was on a trip with his parents... Probably left after he got drunk or whatever. I couldn't believe he'd been drinking. What a jerk.
Even when I mounted, Tera remained responsive and gentle, like butter in my hands. And I decided to mold that butter to my will today. I warmed her up by walking her around the barn before heading out to the arena, bursting in at a canter, giggling. I pulled her to a stop as I recognized somebody new. She was riding with my friend, Junior Fountaine. How great it was to be a freshman and have older friends. I tossed my hair back from under my helmet, and at a slow trot, jogged over to the new girl. 'Hi! I'm Carter Westwood, what's your name?' I grinned, bearing a great resemblance to a five-year-old at the moment. But hey, I was a fish. I was allowed to be immature.

I rode Sacred Dreamer next to the girl and I was happy that Dreamer was OK with other horses. "HI, my name is Rachel Smith and this is Sacred Dreamer, but I call her Dreamer. What''s your horse's name?" I asked. I hoped to make friends here even though I was a junior. I had friends at my parents' stable and I even had a boyfriend Sam, but we had to break up because we thought a long distance relationship wouldn't have worked. We were still good friends and I heard that he has a girlfriend now and I have happy for him. I looked at the girl's horse and the horse was beautiful. I smiled. "Your horse is beautiful." I said smiling (Is this OK?)

I continued riding Time not even noticing the company I was gathering. I wanted to work on lead changes. The young stallion was a little rusty with those and they weren’t exactly pretty right now. But I knew he would get it. In time. I continued to concentrate as the only thing that warned me of the new arrivals was Time’s attention on them. His ears swivled and he was caught off guard throwing a snort out. Easy boy. I whispered. I looked over and saw Carter, a freshman friend of mine. I didn’t mind being friends with anyone really. I was actually pretty friendly when it came down too it. I was just pretty quiet. Not a bad thing sometimes. I watched as her horse was actually calm and collected for once. Definitely a noticeable change. And then I saw there was another girl. I didn’t know her. She looked a little older then Carter but younger then me…. If that was possible. I gave a wave to Carter and brought Time around to go towards them. Time tossed his head and then the two of them stopped on the side of Carter. Hello there. Sorry about that. I was concentrating and didn’t notice anyone coming in. I shrugged my shoulders slightly. Oh and by the way, I’m Junior Fountaine. I greeted the new girl.
OOC: yes much better.. keep them coming lol.. we at least me.. i like stuff to work with you know?...thank you

I smiled and I thought oh my god he was cute and he was cuter then my old boyfriend. "My name is Rachel Smith and this is Sacred Dreamer, Dreamer for short. "I said patting the mare on the neck and she nickered to the stallion. Junior was not just cute he is hot like a hot pepper. I wondered if he had a girlfriend if he didn't I would love to be his girlfriend. Dreamer snorted and I was worken from the thoughts. I smiled at Junior.

YOU'VE GOT ME FUCKED UP AND SO you talk like you're famous, you're shameless. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I grinned at the new girl after she complimented my horse. Most people thought Terabinth was gorgeous - but by the time they got past first impressions, that didn't matter anymore. Tera wasn't flighty, but ... crazy? Almost too loving and happy. 'Thanks. We're best friends.' I grinned childishly, tugging at my pigtail. The sound of hoofbeaths behind me alerted the arrival of Junior Fountaine, coming up beside us. He was apparently my sister's new love interest, I'd heard her cooing about her in her room last night. Ash wasn't very good at hiding that kind of stuff, especially since she frequently talked to herself when she was alone. It was likely our parents knew exactly what was going on at the moment...
I liked the new girl, Rachel. Partially because Ashley hated her. That made me like her that much more. Ash was jealous because her parents had money, she had a mansion, and she felt that she was moving in on her 'Queen Bee' status. Ashley was extremely territorial. Immediately, I realized why. Rachel was taking a liking to Junior, I saw. I knew Junior was cute, practically the hottest guy in school, but it had never really mattered to me. I'd been too wrapped up with Sam. Actually, I hadn't noticed until now ... Huh. Funny. I wondered how Junior would feel about tihs new little relationship. 'So June, Ash was wondering whether you had a date for prom?' I grinned, my braces glimmering in the sun. I liked messing up my sister's life. If Junior actually agreed to take her to prom, or worse, if he actually returned my sister's feelings, I'd have to say Junior was more blind than I thought. Geez ... maybe he did like Ashley! Good Lord, what had this world come to?

My smile disappeared because of the mention of Ashley. Ashley was jealous of my because I had money and a mansion. I was rich and popular. I didn't want Junior to go to the prom with Ashley and I wanted to go to the prom with him. I looked at Dreamer's neck as a petted her neck. I really like him and I wanted to know who he really liked me o.r Ashley. I sighed softly

I'm calling you at 3am and I I'm standing here right outside your door --------------------------------------------------
It had been forever since I rode Valor. He was kind of rusty, and at the moment, I was having trouble keeping him under control. Oh well. Everything was fine, I just had to relax. We crested over a hill, my hand on Valor's neck. He was a gelding, but he might as well have still been a stallion. He was crazy, and jumpy and insane, but I loved him. It ws just hard to deal with his anxiousness somedays. Like today. The sun was out, but it was a little windy, and there was a certain electricity in the air. I'd taken my Thoroughbred for a gallop in the fields, hoping it would calm him down, but no such luck. He was still springy and upbeat, like he'd just run a mile instead of five. It hadn't been easy for me, either. I was falling out of shape a little, football was over, and I was in off season. My well muscled arms and chest were getting a little soft.
I wasn't feeling social today, but I decided I might as well make some new friends. I hadn't been talking to a lot of people since Christmas. My girlfriend back home, Laurie, had broken up with me, and I was still hurt over the whole matter. I knew it made me seem girlish and weak to be so upset over it, but I had always been a softie. I peered down to the arena we were heading towards again. I recognized one girl, a freshman, Carter Westwood, I thought. We'd spoken a few times, and I was good friends with her stalker, Sam Recke. Her friend Junior, who I had spoken a few times to, but never really met was there too. There was one head I didn't recognize. Light brunette, with long hair and a slim figure was riding a gorgeous gray Arabian. I thought they made a good pair. Maybe it wouldn't be so hard to be distracted from Laurie. I squeezed my calves against Valor's sides, and he trotted toward the barn. Hey Carter! I called, my charismatic personality returning to me. I felt more social than I thought I had, but it must have had something to do with my premature attraction to the new girl. You gonna introduce me to your friend? I smiled shyly, grinning at the new girl as she turned around to look at me.

I looked at the boy and though oh my god he was hot. I smiled. "HI, my name is Rachel Smith, but Rach is my nickname." I said smiling. I thought he was cuter then Junior and he was hot as well. He was the kind of boyfriend I might like. I blushed a little and I smiled. If he was my boyfriend we would make a really good couple and he would make a good boyfriend for me.

T A Y L O R e v e r y w h e r e . i ' m . l o o k i n g . n o w i ' m s u r r o u n d e d b y y o u r e m b r a c e
» I sat in the small sports car, head resting against the head rest. My seat belt was undone and blue eyes looking at the roof of the car. My heart was beating warmly in my chest, but my mind was elsewhere. Thinking of the way he could roll his R’s, the way he could take my hand and just his presence made me smile, the way our lips touched. My teeth came down on my bottom lip just thinking about him. Yet, I still didn’t want to believe he was gone from my life for good. There weren’t words to describe the pain I felt every night when I closed my eyes, crying until the morning hours.
» The roar of the engine reminded me where I was and I sat forward. Limp body collapsing against steering wheel, my head placed on my single arm that rested against the wheel and my other hand fumbling to turn off the engine and silent my ride. As the car turned off, I took out the keys and dropped them in the drink holder. Some days I couldn’t believe my mother let me take my dad’s sports car. They were terribly worried about me after all, but I tried to ignore it. My eyes stung and I wiped away the only tear daring to roll down my cheeks. ’Deep breath, Taylor. It’ll be alright. Romeo is already here, and there are tons of other guys. Just none for me.’ My voice quiet as I opened the door and escaped the cold air conditioning.
» It was an oddly hot day. I wore a dark wash pair of Abercrombie skinny jeans, black Ariat tall boots neatly zipped and fitting perfectly. They were polished; so many days of mindless polishing. I also had decided to wear a white tank top, maybe not the best option of choice when riding, but it felt right. I quickly put my hair up in a messy ponytail, and I wore mascara and eyeliner, not much more make-up then that. Rocks crunched underneath my step and I made my way to the boarder barn. My mind switched easily from one task to another and to the one and only, Romeo. We had purchased him as a three year old when I was twelve. He was a black holsteiner, standing at seventeen hands at three and only growing up a few inches since then. We had decided to keep him a stallion, but I didn’t ride him until he turned five, me fourteen. My parents wanted him trained by the best. That’s exactly what happened, in a perfect life.
» Romeo was full of spark, fire. He can explode over the jumps and jumped like a dream. Of course it took a while to get him to be like that, he needed a lot of work. If he didn’t get enough flat work he would be fresh as fuck over the jumps. When he wants you off, he will get you off at all costs. We took a liking to each other though, so I managed to escape the worst throws some riders could face. He was a pain, but I loved him. I walked into the shade of the barn. Looking at the glimmering name plates on the horses’ stalls and of course there was no warm nicker to fill the air from Romeo. There usually weren’t. I rolled my eyes, coming closer to his stall only to catch sight of him kicking at his neighbor. Wood seemed to vibrate beneath the powerful blows. I put two fingers up to my mouth and whistled. The black stallion’s ears perking forward his nearly all-black face showing. There was a deep sounded whicker that seemed to stay in his throat. His eyes large and his thick forelock cascaded down his head. As I reached his stall, his muzzle found its way into my pale hand. My other hand ran down his head, his tongue licking the salt clean away from my skin. I leaned forward kissing the area between his eyes. ”Oh, oh, Romeo.” I sang quietly, looking at the smallest stripe that ran between his nostrils.
» I turned away from him to grab the red halter that hang on the stall. My hands running over the gold buckle, frown appearing on my face. The stallion’s nudge bringing me back again, I put the halter over his head, and buckled it on the third hole. I pushed open the stall door to walk him out. His step a tiny trot beside me, ”Oh calm down.” My laugh echoed and I hooked him in the cross ties. His front foot coming down hard on the mat and a smile came across my face as I quickly brushed him off and got him tacked up in my leather Antares saddle. Underneath that was a sheepskin halfpad, and then underneath that was a thin, white pad that read ‘Romeo’ in a swirly green font. He had a figure eight, and elevator bit, and my trusty running martingale on. His pulled made hung obediently on the left side of his neck, and his piercing blue eyes soft as he looked to me, nudging my arm as I studied my work. I nodded and walked him forward, and pulled down my stirrups and mounted easily. I never used a mounting block with him, only by ground or someone giving me a leg up. We had imported him from Germany, and that was one drawback. They never used mounting blocks; therefore he was freaked by them and wouldn’t walk near one. I fixed my feet in my stirrups before walking into the arena, Romeo’s step large as he fought to catch up to the two mares and the one boy’s own horse. He wasn’t a stallion who attacked, or was lovey-dovey with the mares, but he definitely liked showing off.
» As we neared the boy and the two girls, I picked up my reins. Just in case Romeo decided to do something stupid. But, just as I did that, a voice sounded off behind me. Another boy showed up, coming in front of me and catching up to the quickly growing herd of people and their horses. My voice was cut off as Rachel spoke and introduced her self. A bit gun-ho if you ask me. A small smile plagued my lips, and I looked down on Romeo’s black mane and neck. My blood beginning to boil around Rachel, ”Oh honey, do I see a desperate. Bouncing from one guy to another, you’ll never learn to know who would be your soulmate, and what real loss feels like.” I shook my head, before realizing I never introduced myself. ”I’m Taylor and this guy is Romeo.” I nodded my head, leaning forward to pat the stud’s neck. ”I hope you don’t mind me squeezing in here. Either way, I’m not leaving until this guy is worked.” Smile appearing on my face as I squeezed the white rubber reins and Romeo’s head dropping willingly into a frame.

I looked at her and smiled. "You can join us and I have to this mare worked.' I said patting her neck and Dreamer snorted. She pawed a little and flickered her ears. I sighed a little and I wanted a boy who loved to sing and horses. I rode Dreamer away from the group and I started to canter her. I then cantered her towards a jump and cleared the jump.
